MEDITATION ... MONDAYS and WEDNESDAYS! Beginning April 4th 

There are such tremendous benefits from a regular meditation practice. But then there are the demands of life, and soon your plan for self improvement is hijacked, only latter to be wished for again. So let’s break-up the cycle and schedule meditation into your life, at least once a week. Mondays are led by Dr. Bickford & Wednesdays, Kris Sharp!

WHEN: EVERY MONDAY (the FIRST FOUR Mondays of APRIL) with Dr Kurt Bickford
TIME:   6:00pm to 7:00pm PLEASE NOTE: this is a different time than Wednesdays! 

Monday night meditation will begin with very simple basics and then slowly progress weekly into more expansive meditational experiences. Learn to discern the difference between the egoic self and the true Self.  These experiences will be held within the safety, warmth and beauty of the Meditation Room and the gentle, friendly group meditation format.  One of the advantages of group meditation is the collective energy-field generated each session in concert with one another, a state that will increase your sense of well-being and stay with you for hours to days.  
So let's stop the postponing and missing out and join the fun and growth potential of Monday Meditations..... the BEST part...?  Every Monday night (first FOUR Mondays in APRIL) will be led by our own Dr. Kurt R. Bickford (PhD, MA, MS, BCB!)  He brings a vast knowledge and practice of meditation to this venue and generously shares his mindful practices and expertise in all types of meditation.

Experience deep rejuvenation, relaxation, healing and connection to Self... these are just some of the realizations that manifest in our Wednesday night meditation!  MEDITATION & RHYTHMIC Meditation is a combination of flowing into meditation and coming-out drumming!  No musical skills are required!  It's the collection of souls banging out a tune together that makes the music a SOUND BATH!!!  We provide the drums!!!  Wednesday nights are led in a GROUP VENUE with an expert leader in MEDITATION:  Kris Sharp, MPA, BCB

Rhythmic drumming can create a shift in one's state, which can have a wide range of therapeutic applications. A recent study by Barry Quinn, Ph.D. demonstrates that even brief drumming sessions can double alpha brain wave activity, dramatically reducing stress. The research sites that brain waves shift from predominantly Beta waves (focused concentration) to Alpha waves (calm and relaxed), creating a deeper connection to one's well-being. The sound of a drum can help us to take notice of our own heartbeat. It is our heartbeats that keep us alive and vital. Drumming can also be very therapeutic in getting in touch with our inner selves.
