Grantwriting 101
Amanda Evridge, Program Officer at The Henry Foundation, will lead an interactive session covering the basics of grantwriting. This includes preparing, submitting and following up on funding proposals,as well as do's and don'ts based on input of local funders. And don't forget to come prepared - this is a great opportunity to ask someone who has been on the evaluation side of proposals all of your questions!
Amanda L. Evridge was employed as Program Officer at The Henry Foundation in August 2014. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Texas State University in 2003 and a Master of Public Service and Administration from the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A & M University in May 2006. While receiving her education, Amanda served as an Intern for the City Manager’s office in San Marcos, Texas, and a Research Associate with the Florida State Legislature’s Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability in Tallahassee, Florida.
Since moving to the Permian Basin, Amanda has been an Adjunct Professor with University of Texas Permian Basin, taught in the Rankin Independent School District where she currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees plus worked as a Grant Writer and Development Director with Casa de Amigos of Midland, Texas, Inc. and Marketing and Development Director with High Sky Children’s Ranch.
