In a time of shrinking budgets, it's becoming even more important than ever to utilize your small marketing budget wisely. This
hands-on workshop will be held in the Computer Lab at WMU SW; space is limited. Bring your laptop or utilize one in the room to access the internet, recommended sites and your organization's website.
In this workshop you will learn:
- How to determine which social media sites could benefit your organization
- How best to manage your online presence
- How to measure the success of your online activities
- The best way to ensure your social media sites are kept up to date
PRESENTER: Katie White of HOLT BOSSE, St. Joseph, MI
Katie brings eight years experience in account management and program strategy for outdoor advertising and multi-media marketing and consulting firms. Her expertise is in managing marketing & advertising programs for a range of business-to-business and business-to-consumer clients including Ausco Products, Inc.; Burr Oak Tool, Inc.; Do-It Corporation; Hospice at Home; Silver Beach Carousel; Lory’s Place; Oak Press Solutions, Inc.; Vail Rubber Works, Inc. and Wolverine Mutual Insurance Company. In addition, she is the current president and public relations chair for Lakeshore Rotary Club, Stevensville, MI.
Katie holds a B.A., Public Relations from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, MI and graduated magna cum laude in less than four years from Western Michigan University’s Lee Honors College.
