Our guest speaker will be Andrea P. Cook  

Andrea grew up on a working cattle ranch in rural eastern Oregon.  She and her three siblings spent much of their childhood riding horses, herding cattle and tending to ranch chores.  She credits her parents for teaching her about God, faith and the importance of education.  Cook holds both a Master's degree and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Policy and Management from the University of Oregon.  Dr. Cook has spent most of her career in higher education in the state of Oregon having served in various positions at Judson Baptist College, University of Oregon, Goshen college and a fifteen year stint at George Fox University.  In November of 2008, Dr. Cook was selected to become the first female and seventh overall President of Warner Pacific College.
