Our 2014 Women of Vision Gala
is dedicated to the late Dr. Joan King
Join your colleagues and friends for our evening of GLITZ and GLAMOR to honor twelve Women of Vision who have impacted our lives and our communities!
- The evening begins at 5:30pm with a champagne reception in the beautiful atrium of the Ft. Collins Hilton Hotel
- Enjoy the lovely music of classical violinist Katie Buttermore softly playing in the background.
- In Addition we have a special surprise, a showcase of a very young talent!
- Enjoy a glass of champagne, compliments of the Hilton Hotel.
- Greet old friends, make new ones, and enjoy this casual hour of elegance.
At 6:15pm the doors to the Ballroom open and the magical evening begins! Mayor Karen Weitkunant reads a Proclamation from the Ft. Collins City Council designating July 16th as "WOMEN OF VISION DAY."
We take a moment to honor the late Dr. Joan King (speaker, coach, author and 2010 International Woman of Vision Honoree) and play her inspiration video to open the event.
LeAnn Thieman (Hall of Fame Speaker, author, nurse and 2011 Woman of Courage Honoree) will set the stage for us to honor these everyday women, your neighbors and friends...who didn't say "Someone should do something" but instead said, "I am going to do something!"
The focus of the evening is to honor twelve women of our community who are truly "Women of Vision:" These women have demonstrated visionary approaches in their professional and volunteer endeavors and have made a contribution to the well-being and empowerment of women locally, nationally, and internationally. They have enriched the lives of others with their courage, intelligence, talent and - of course - vision. They inspire us all through their innovation and leadership.
Registration is easy! Just click on the link below to register and pay. When you register, select your meal:
- Porcini-crusted Sirloin with Hazel Dell Mushroom Sauce, with garlic mashed potatoes and a green bean medley.
- Miso-glazed Salmon with a black quinoa and a green bean medley.
- Vegetarian: Butternut squash with black quinoa, tomatoes, feta cheese and a balsamic glaze.
- All meals can be prepared GLUTEN-FREE. Indicate your preference when registering!
