2018 - 6th Annual
Quintessence Summer Choral Festival 

Join Quintessence for our sixth annual Summer Choral Festival! 

On Sunday, July 29, 2018, 3:00 p.m. at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, we will perform Robert Cohen's Alzheimer's Stories and other pieces with our professional festival orchestra, under the direction of Quintessence Artistic Director Matthew Greer.
Student singers are encouraged to audition for our Choral Scholars program, which will perform a set of pieces as well as be a part of the master choir. 

Rehearsals begin Saturday, July 21.

Registration fee includes scores, a recording of the performance, an official festival t-shirt, and entrance to workshops, individual coaching sessions, and social events,

The complete schedule will be updated with workshops and other social events that will happen throughout the week

We look forward to rehearsing and performing with you.

Our rehearsals will be from July 21 - July 28  at the National Hispanic Cultural Center -1701 4th Street SW, 87102.

INFORMATION FOR SINGERS

Any singer high school age or older.

IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF SINGERS?
We have a limit of 130 singers. 

FEES
The singer fee $125 per adult participant if you register by April 30th. The cost includes a score of the Robert Cohen's Alzheimer's Stoires. It also includes a recording of the final performance, entrance to workshops and other events to be announced, and an official festival T-shirt. 

The registration fee increases to $150 per person on May 1st, so sign up early!

Fee for all high school students and full-time college students will be $25 and rise to $35 May 1st..

Your fee must be paid by paypal or by mailing us a check in order to save your spot. We are unable to refund your registration fee, and will consider your fee a donation to Quintessence if you are unable to sing with us.

SCORES
Registration fee includes a full score of the Robert Cohen Alzheimer's Stores, which will be yours to keep. Scores will be available for pick-up by June 1. Location TBA.

ATTENDANCE POLICY
Singers should miss no more than one of the six scheduled rehearsals. The rehearsal on Saturday, July 29 is mandatory.

Simple black for women; dark pants, white long-sleeved shirt, long tie for men.
