June 6 - New(er) to Management & Mid-career Round-table

Back by popular demand!  The transition from a technical expert within an organization to a management position can be the most challenging shift of a career. Making the switch requires adopting fresh perspectives and learning new skills.
 
Join WTS Minnesota for a facilitated discussion to share knowledge and build community amongst newer managers. Participants will have the opportunity to rotate through the following break-out sessions:

• The art of persuasion
• Coaching
• Work/life balance
• Know yourself, know your team

Confirmed facilitators include Nikki Farrington (SEH), Katie Roth (Metro Transit), Kristin Thompson (Metro Transit), and Charleen Zimmer (Zan Associates).

This event is designed for professionals who have been in a management role (including managing projects and consultants) for 5 years or less and will be limited to 25 participants to help keep groups small and ensure opportunity to share experiences. Light breakfast and refreshments will be served.
