The roads you drive on, the bridges you cross, the buildings in which you study or work, the power behind your lights and anything you can plug in, the water you drink—they’re all possible because of civil engineering! Its impact is everywhere. On Civil Engineering Day, local civil engineers will host interactive exhibits to tinker with activities that address the challenges civil engineers face every day.
We'll also watch ASCE's Omni theater film Dream Big: Engineering Our World. You'll see engineering marvels from around the world-from the Great Wall of China and the world's tallest skyscrapers to underwater robots and solar cars.
Museum admission and an omnitheater ticket are included with the group rate admission with WTS. This is a family friendly event. WTS members and friends are encouraged to bring family and friends.
