Boston, MA -- Tuesday, October 18, 2010 -- The Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, today announced the Chris Eck Face-Off Clinic at the South Shore Fieldhouse in Pembroke, MA on Saturday, December 4 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.  The face-off clinic is part of the Boston Cannons Fall Clinic Series featuring Chris Eck, Paul Rabil and Matt Poskay.  For information on the othe clinics scheduled visit www.bostoncannons.com

“The Boston Cannons strive to bring the best lacrosse in the world to our fans in New England through our league games, the MLL All-Star Game and our off-season clinic series,” said Mark Kastrud, Cannons Vice President and General Manager.  “Chris Eck brings his specific skill of face-off specialist to those youth players in New England who want to  really concentrate on developing this skill.”

Eck was named to the 2010 MLL All-Star Team as one of the top face-off men in the league.  He won 54% of his face-offs in his third season for the Cannons.  The Chris Eck Face-Off Clinic will examine the techniques of controlling and winning face-offs.

The clinic is $85 per participant and is available for boys in 8th to 12th grade. Space is limited in each clinic and pre-registration is required.  Players must bring full lacrosse gear to participate.
