One marketer needed to promote a local event connected to the 50th anniversary of the 1963 March on Washington when a huge national celebration was happening just 30 miles away. Another was charged with promoting a program for a limited audience. And a third needed to garner publicity for a small independent school’s sustainability project. All succeeded, with publicity getting national attention in a couple of cases and/or earning major awards.
