SBA Awards Ceremony

Join the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Washington Metropolitan Area District Office, Montgomery County Economic Development, SCORE and a host of government agencies as we celebrate the contributions and success of our local small businesses during National Small Business Week.

Please join us for a luncheon where we will present awards to SBA’s Small Business Person of the Year for the District of Columbia, Southern Maryland, and Northern Virginia, as well as the Women’s Business Center Excellence Award. Immediately following the luncheon there will be a panel of government contracting experts talking about Marketing to the Federal Government. Agency representatives including Small Business Specialists, Contracting Officers, Program Officers, Procurement Center Representatives, and Commercial Market Representatives will discuss their respective roles in the procurement process and how they can continue to support small businesses post-award, including topics such as whom to contact if an issues arises after contract award.
