Community Action Agencies trace their history to the enactment of the Economic Opportunity Act, which is associated most directly with President Lyndon Johnson's "War on Poverty" headed by Sargent Shriver. Today, more than 1,000 Community Action Agencies fulfil that charge of addressing the causes and effects of poverty.
CAGI's Board of Directors, Management Team and Staff would be delighted to have you join us. In addition, special recognition of our many partners whom have collaborted and worked with us along the way, particularly that of the Indiana Housing Community Develpment Authority (IHCDA).
