CSU East Bay's Integrated Middle School Science (IMSS)
Lesson study provides opportunities for teachers to engage in the cycle of inquiry, observe and analyze student thinking and make data-driven decisions. Through lesson study, teachers have reported improved Science inquiry pedagogy, greater teacher collaboration, and deeper understanding of students' thinking during instruction. Join a district- based lesson study team to experiment with the instructional and content shifts required of teachers and students by NGSS and CCSS.

A minimum of 3 teachers per grade level in a district (including the facilitator) is needed to form a Lesson Study Team.
