INTRODUCTION TO CROWDFUNDING WITH UCLA SPARK
Explore the possibilities of funding your research projects or programs using UCLA's exciting new crowdfunding platform.
UCLA recently introduced UCLA Spark, an online crowdfunding platform that provides critically-timed fundraising support for innovative projects. Through social media and traditional communications, UCLA Spark helps faculty and student organizations campus-wide connect with donors, introducing them to the broad scope of research and programmatic activities on campus.
This presentation will provide an overview of UCLA Spark including the application process and the components of a successful Spark project, as well as an interactive group session to create sample projects and pitch potential ideas.
