The historic First Congregational Church on Main Street, New Milford was built in 1832.
Our beautiful meetinghouse that sits majestically on the northeast side of the Green can be seen for miles around. It has served as a pillar of faith for 300 years and its ministry has touched the community and beyond by serving, helping, comforting, giving, and leading.
Three years ago a truss in the roof failed resulting in it being held up by temporary beams. Now the time has come to permanently repair the structure and roof; we are calling upon members, friends, those in our extended family and community to help by joining with us for this event.
