This seminar provides an overview of critical concepts of the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code. These concepts provide a basis for the correct use of the code in the design, plan review, inspection, and analysis of projects. It will provide a clear understanding and correct use of the requirements identified by these basic code provisions, tables and categorizations.  Participants will apply the code in clear-cut situations and build their understanding of the intent of the code when asked to make code compliance decisions.  

Gerald C. Flanik is an ICC-Certified Master Code Professional (MCP) holding over 30 various certifications and licenses.   Mr. Flanik is a LEED Accredited Professional (Building Design and Construction) and a Certified Floodplain Manager.   He serves as the Chief Building Official for the County of Lake, Ohio Building Department encompassing 22 jurisdictions. Gerald holds degrees in Civil Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering from Cleveland State University. Jerry is an adjunct faculty instructor for Lakeland College in the Civil and Electrical Engineering Departments instructing engineering courses along with NEC electrical code courses, while also teaching multi-disciplinary courses for the International Code Council throughout the world. 

There is a $25.00 add-on fee for this course to cover the cost of the required workbook. No purchase orders accepted. Payment is be credit card only. It is MANDATORY to bring your ticket with you to claim your book.
