Starz & Co. Miss Heart of Dixie open to all states surrounding Georgia   

This is a state prelim for Miss Heart of Dixie . We will only have these titles per division available unless there is 5 or more in the group . At that point we will offer more titles. We will only be awarding the top two runner ups in each division as long as there is 5 in each divison . You must reside in the surrounding  states of Georgia  for your title  ONLY $99 to enter!!! 

Queens per age division will win a beautiful custom state  sash and crown. All queens will receive optionals free at Nationals. $150.00 FREE

  Alternates per age division will be named as runner ups, and will receive a beautiful starz plaque and $25.00 off for our next state prelim. We will only take 8 per division.

Side Awards: 1 contestant per division will win Most Beautiful, Best Dressed, Best Hair , & OOC,

Optional Awards:  interview, portfolio  and Photogenic!

   Outfit of Choice

Is exactly that outfit of choice, this can be off the rack or hand-made.  

This is a semi-glitz pageant system. Pageant/Formal dresses are encouraged. No Full Glitz! Any color is acceptable. Makeup and Hair pieces are acceptable ONLY if they are used to enhance the contestant’s beauty. No Flippers are allowed! Spray tan is accepted if it enhances the child on stage. Walk should be natural, graceful, and elegant. Girls should appear comfortable on stage!   

Everything stated above is included in your entry FEE! If you choose to not participate in OOC or Photogenic then your child will just not be judged. Please remember that Beauty and OOC are scored together for  your winner . Side awards or Optionals  have no basis on winners or Overalls! Please note that side awards are Most Beautiful, Best Hair, OOC, Photogenic, & Best Dress. 


Optional Categories

The winner of each optional will have no basis on who is crowned as queen. The optional categories are not included in your application fee. These categories will include Interview, Photogenic, Portfolio and Overall Jack pots. 
 
Interview
Cost is $15.00 this is added to entry fee if you choose to enter this category. You will be asked three questions off of your Bio. You can wear an interview suit or a sunday best dress. This is great practice for any upcoming national pageants.  

All photogenic pictures will need to be  at least 5x7 and no bigger than 8x10 ,  If not in these size’s photos will not be acceptable or judged.  Photographs can be head shots or body shots. Please turn in photos during registration. Cost to enter photogenic is $10.00  

Portfolio

Turn in a scrapbook or portfolio of at least 5 or 10 pictures . Can be head shoots or full body. Pics can be of your child in the last year. Cost is $10.00

Overall Jack Pots 

 Cost is $10.00 each. Overall Jack pot Most Beautiful , Overall Jack Pot OOC, Overall Photogenic . These will be spilt up by Overall Break downs . Winner will receive one Free Overall Optional at Nationals! $50.00 value

 Starz Ambassador State Title Award Program 

Every contestant collecting at least $150.00 in sponsorship will receive a large crown and sash with your name on the sash. If a contestant collects $200.00 or more, she will receive a  trophy, crown, and a sash. You need to tell us what cause/benefit you will be supporting for your title. You hold this title for a year. You will need to make appearances at parades, and other functions wearing your crown and sash. You will also need to keep volunteering with the cause you choose and help them raise money. WE do not collect the money to give to your benefit. We only collect the initial entry for the cost of awards. You need to have at least 75-100 community service hours while holding this title .  We can help you achieve this goal. You will be recognized on stage at Natioanls for this. If you are collecting money for this we have to know no later than two weeks before event No exceptions! People’s Choice Award
We will host “The People’s Choice Award” for each pageant session. Anyone attending the pageant will be able to cast votes by ballot for $1.00 per vote to choose their favorite contestant. Start collecting votes now and turn in all money on the day of the pageant. Winners will receive a crown This does not affect judge's decisions!

 

Mock Pageant

We now offer Mock pageants with our pageants. The way this works is  You will compete just like you are competing in an actually pageant. You will only register for the mock pageant portion when you register. You will compete just like if you entered the pageant. The cost for this is $45.00 to enter. This includes Beauty and OOC only .  You will receive your score sheets, a starz  label pin, a and one on one time with the judges after the pageant to discuse what you may need improvements on. You will not receive any awards that are awarded in the pageant.

 Score Sheets may be picked up at the end of  each pageant session. 

 
All Bios, applications, Photos and money must be turned in three days before pageant. Here is the  link for your bio please copy or write this link down so that after registration you can complete your bio.  

There are no refunds UNLESS pageant is canceled or rescheduled. If contestant is not able to make pageant, fees will be transferred to the next pageant that is being held. If fees do not cover the full entry of next pageant, the difference will need to be paid in order for contestant to attend. We will only transfer to the next pageant. No refunds. 

Bad sportsmanship will not be tolerated. If you choose this you will be asked to leave building with no refund.

Judges scores are final! Judges CANNOT be approached during judging or crowning. After pageant has ended, you can talk to judges.Score sheets are handed out after each crowning.

Please do not approach staff while they are tallying scores or while a contestant is on stage. Questions can be asked before pageant begins, during breaks between attire chances, while we wait for crowning or after the pageant.

If there is a mistake during crowning and contestant receives wrong award or no award at all, we will double check final scores and awards will be mailed to contestant. If parent chooses to not accept awards or to help fix problem, no awards will be sent.

Children that are not competing, parents must control while pageant is in session. This is so that judges can focus on contestants.
Inquiries regarding your daughter’s scores will not be discussed at the pageant.

Door Admission is $8.00 for Adults and $4.00 for children under 10. This price is for ALL audience members pre-registered online. We do not offer paid arm band with contestant. The door entry is to help pay for the venue.

We do not list all awards that will be given out, we like for our awards to be a surprise to the girls! Starz always gives great awards and noone goes home empty handed. Please look at previous photos on FB to see some of our great awards we have given out at previous pageants.

The Application Fee MUST be included with your Application. The Balance MUST be paid at the time of Registration. ***Deadline to Enter Pageant is two days before pageant. Returned checks will be assessed a $50.00 fee. Starz Pageants, or anyone associated with this pageant are not responsible for any accident or injury to persons or personal items during the pageant. Nor do we take responsibility for lost or stolen items.  $25.00 Dnon refundable deposit will hold your spot in line. And All balances will need to be payed for the day before the pageant.
