Modern Masculinity Training Institute for Maine Residents

This free professional development opportunity is open to MAINE parents, educators, coaches and youth serving adults.

***Upon registration, please confirm that you are a parent, educator, coach or youth serving adult in MAINE. (If you reside outside of Maine, sign up here to be notified of future Training Institutes.)

The Modern Masculinity Training Institute is a six-module online training that prepares participants to use portions of Maine Boys to Men's Reducing Sexism and Violence Program (RSVP)™ with youth.
Whether you are a facilitator of youth programs, a parent, a positive role model, an educator, a coach,
or a youth-serving professional of any kind, this workshop will help you support the healthy
development of boys who will confidently challenge a culture of self-harm and violence.
Participants connect through a Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) framework aimed at
primary prevention of gender-based violence. The program prepares participants to engage
youth in activities and discussions about the topics of interpersonal bias, empathy, masculinity,
healthy relationships, gender stereotypes, gender-based violence, consent, and upstander
intervention.
This training institute is made possible in part through generous funding from the Maine Masonic Charitable Foundation.
