RetroFittings 2014: Decades of Divas
For over a decade the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and the University of Cincinnati’s Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP) have partnered to present RetroFittings, an annual fashion show that features the couture designs of DAAP students.
6:00 p.m. – Cocktails, Hors D’oeuvres and Boutique Shopping
7:30 p.m. – Live Auction
8:00 p.m. – Fashion Show
This innovative fashion show supports the mission of St. Vincent de Paul and proves that a good cause never goes out of style. Students from DAAP shop in any of the seven St. Vincent de Paul Thrift stores with a budget of $10.00, turning items they find in the stores into one-of-a-kind pieces modeled in a high-energy, unforgettable fashion show.
The cocktail-attire event also features a boutique filled with unique and trendy items from St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Stores, plus the opportunity to win fabulous raffle and auction items!
