Oregon Health Authority/THW Certified PSS. This training also offers CEU’s. This training is a great training for all other professional providers.

IPS training fills up fast! Space is limited. Seats will be held by first come first serve of paid registrations only, unless arrangements are made and approved by FolkTime.

Please note that this is an online training that will consist of two 4 hour blocks per week, for 5 weeks. You must complete all sessions to receive an IPS Certificate and Letter of Eligibility for the OHA THW PSS Registry.  Your name and information will be shared with Intentional Peer Support Central and they will send you a separate IPS certificate for your records. This certificate is to recognize nationally your completion of IPS.  You will be emailed an Oregon certificate after completion for your records. PLEASE save ALL your certificates, they are your proof of completion and is required when submitting to Oregon Health Authority/THW Certification registry (there may be a charge for lost/damaged replacement certificates) 

PSS: A Peer Support Specialist is any [range of] individuals who provide supportive services to a current or former consumer of mental health or addiction treatment. (From ORS 414.025).

Intentional Peer Support is recognized as an approved training for individuals working with Adults “Peer support specialist” means an individual providing services to another individual who shares a similar life experience with the peer support specialist (addiction to addiction, mental health condition to mental health condition).
