Celebrate winter in Vermont!
Discover "Hooo's" out there making raucous noises in the night and learn about the secret life of one of New England's most elusive nocturnal residents.
This fun, family event will introduce participants to the several species of owls that call Vermont home. Participants will learn about the hoots owls make and then go into the woods to call for them. Weather permitting, we will explore this wintry world on snowshoes and then warm up with a hot cup of cocoa.
Participants are encouraged to bring a flashlight/headlamp and dress in layers to be outside.
