10:30 am From Crack House to Cash Cow! Complete Money Making Renovations by Our Own Members

David Levine, Cory Weiner and Alex Lugovoy will take us through some of their latest projects. We will learn the inside story on how they found properties, renovated and cashed in using Tax Credits and ingenuity to provide safe and beautiful housing and help revive RVA.

12:30 pm Mally Mason from DOPR Fair Housing Seminar

This two hour class teaches you about legal rights and responsibilities under the Fair Housing Law. The course, taught by Mally Dryden- Mason of the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR), gives you the basic foundation of Fair Housing Law required of all housing providers. Ignorance of the law is not a defense!

Who should take the class? Landlords, property managers, leasing consultants, maintenance personnel, owners of manufactured housing, the general public . . . anyone who sells, leases, owns, or manages residential property. Housing providers who complete the course are eligible for state certification by the Fair Housing Board.
