Freshwater Marsh Tour - 12/3/2022

Join us for a tour of Ballona Freshwater Marsh!

Parking: Street parking on Bluff Creek Drive in front of the park or the parking lot just west of the park in front of Playa Vista Elementary School and Sports Park.

Registration: Registration is required. You must also sign the digital waiver.

Ages: Recommended for ages 7 and up, but all ages are welcome. Youths 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

What to wear: Close-toed shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and a hat.

What to bring: We recommend you bring water, sunscreen, bug spray, and a snack if needed. The nearest restroom is located just under a quarter mile west of Ballona Discovery Park, at the Playa Vista Sports Park.

Please arrive on time: We begin promptly!

Covid-19 Protocols: We recommend that unvaccinated individuals wear a mask and please do not come to the tour if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, such as a cough or fever.

Cancellations: For safety, we must cancel if it’s raining. Please check the weather before arriving. If you’re not sure, please check our website or social media for cancellation announcements.
