Come to our signature event of the year...

Conservation Montgomery 2012 Annual Meeting

November 9, 2012 and hear about

"Trees, Champions of the Environment"

Please join us for a wine/cheese reception at 7 p.m. followed by our guest speakers from the nonprofits American Forests and Casey Trees at 8 p.m.  This is an evening you will not want to miss.

Our guest speakers are Mark Buscaino, ISA Certified Arborist, Casey Trees Executive Director, and a member of our CM Advisory Council as well as a founding board member, and Sheri Shannon, Education and Outreach Manager for the nonprofit American Forests.

Come to network, renew your membership and renew friendships with like-minded community members from all areas of Montgomery County.  Meet representatives from our partner organizations, other Conservation Montgomery members, and local elected and appointed officials.

We will also update you on our plans for 2013 which include a community tree planting project partnering with Safe Silver Spring, Granito de Arena and the Montgomery Planning Department, funded by a grant from the Chesapeake Bay Trust.  And we'll be able to fill you in on our 2012 tree-planting project with  Casey Trees.

Best of all, please come and help us thank some of our volunteers who have helped with tree planting and tree stewardship this past year as Conservation Montgomery has embarked on local tree planting projects.
