Join us in April to hear from Ashlee Boyd, Managing Partner with Thompson Thrift and Megan Baumgartner, Economic Development Director with the City of Fishers.

With the opening of Indiana’s first IKEA and Topgolf in the fast-growing city of Fishers, TTRG looked ahead and purchased the adjacent property in preparation for developing Fishers District. This development was designed to fill the void of quality dining options in the immediate Fishers area. With a focus on attracting local favorites and restaurateurs,

TTRG has successfully secured leasing deals with big names such as Sun King Brewery, The HC Grill, 1933 Lounge by St Elmo, and more. In addition to culinary retail, The Yard at Fishers District will also have boutique shops and services. The Yard will be a green space to promote community engagement and activities.

Ashlee Boyd is responsible for the oversight and growth of the Thompson Thrift's retail division (TTRG), including all site selection, acquisition, development and leasing activities. Ashlee has more than 23 years of experience in the leasing and development of retail real estate. He began his career with a leading “Chain Links” brokerage firm in Phoenix, Arizona, where he represented numerous national credit retailers and shopping center owners throughout the state. From there, he went on to represent retailers in their national expansion efforts as a consultant and preferred developer, completing numerous deals in several markets throughout the country. Following that experience, Ashlee worked on the development side of the industry, where he has been successfully involved in the leasing and development of over 100 ground-up retail projects in multiple markets throughout the country ranging in size from single tenant build-to-suits to large-scale power and lifestyle centers. Since joining Thompson Thrift, Ashlee has led and overseen the completion of retail projects totaling more than $400 Million in market value.  He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in real estate from Arizona State University. He joined Thompson Thrift in 2006. He is a Licensed Real Estate Broker and an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Megan Baumgartner is the Director of Economic Development with the City of Fishers. Megan started with the City as the Assistant Director of Economic Development in July 2015 and was recently promoted to Director at the beginning of 2019. She leads business engagement and recruitment efforts while working with the mayor on redevelopment projects. Prior to joining the Fishers team, Megan worked at the Indiana Economic Development Corporation as a project manager helping expanding companies in Indiana receive state incentives. Megan is a member of the Indiana Economic Development Association, the Hamilton County Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors, Fishers Junior High School Guiding All Kids Advisory Committee, and attends Geist Christian Church. She lives in Fishers with her husband, Jeff, daughter, Willa, and son, Beau.
