Getting Our Veterans Launched into New Careers!
We all know how much veterans have done for us. Will you be able to assist them during their transition to civilian life?
Our panel of experts in helping Vets make a career transition will explore the challenges of veteran unemployment currently and as projected with the upcoming draw down, the availability of community and online resources, and identifying the civilian focus roles based on military experiences for hiring professionals.
Our panel experts include:
Rebecca Leyson, a U.S. Army veteran is both a career coach and recruiter. She is a Senior Transition Specialist at RiseSmart, an outplacement company and an independent career coach working with both veterans and non-veterans.
David Rich, a retired Lt. Colonel, USAF is Director, Veterans Employment and Training Division, Department of Labor in Delaware.
Kim Bonuomo, a Family Law Attorney and U.S. Army veteran, is the Coordinator of Veteran Outreach at Women’s Resource Center in Wayne, PA.
