Oklahoma City Area Inter-Tribal Health Board Training Event 

Plan to attend the National Indian Health Board (NIHB) presentation and training, August 12, 2014, 9:00 AM-4:30 PM:  Tribal Updates of the Affordable Care Act!

This training will be hosted in part by the Oklahoma City Area Inter-Tribal Health, Citizen Potawatomi Nation and presented by the National Indian Health Board staff!

The training will be conducted at the Grand Casino Hotel and Resort, near Shawnee, OK  74804

This important Tribal Update ACA training shall include:  Overview and Marketplace Update; Medicaid Expansion (Oklahoma does not have); ACA Exemptions; Cost Sharing Opportunities; Enrollment Strategies; and Implications for Tribal Communities and Individuals.

The Grand Hotel has extended a discounted room rate for guests attending the ACA training  and staying the night before or after the training. For the discounted room rates please call the hotel main number (405) 964-7777 and request the ‘National Indian Health Board’ room rate when booking. The rate indicated is $89.00 per night plus tax.  This special discounted room rate is valid for room bookings made through August 5, 2014, only.
