MOVIE  NIGHT

It's So Much Work To Be Your Friend

The lives of most children are filled with joy and laughter with friends and classmates.  Some children, however, seem unable to make these important connections with peers and as a result are often isolated and ignored. This movie explores the causes and consequences of " social incompetence". Drawing on current research and thirty years experience in residential school, Richard Lavoie provides powerful strategies for teaching friendship skills in the classroom, on the homefront, and in the community.
