Understanding Specific Learning Disabilities
In order to be successful, students with Learning Disabilities (LD) need to learn to be strategic learners and thinkers. In this workshop participants will develop an understanding of learning disabilities and characteristics that are often present in students with LD. We will explore strategies for supporting students and will discuss the need for academic accommodations and modifications for students with LD.
