Writing your Heart Out Retreat with Sandra Shackelford

Is there a story within you waiting to be shared?

This powerful 2-day writers workshop will help you to unlock the story within. Part of the creative non-fiction workshop (and journaling) will include information about The Writing Process, which will include:

  • Developing a timeline -- creating a map chronicling the important/transformational people, events and experiences in your life journey.
  • You will learn about story structure: beginnings, middle, ends; scene building; sense of place; character building, etc.
  • You will learning about reflection , going deeper into your story. This step will help you free yourselves in order to open up, silence the "inner critic" and free you to begin writing your heart out.
  • In Golden Light Healing Retreat's  sacred, safe, non-judgmental environment you will be encouraged to tell and write your TRUTH.
Participants will be encouraged to open up and  bond with each other, taking home new friendships and techniques and tips about writing TRUE along with the courage and commitment to continue writing the stories of your incredible lives.
