There is LIMITED street parking near the Eckhardt Researcch Center Building. Of course, you may get lucky and find a spot nearby, but it is recommended that you park at the parking structures.
The closest parking structure to the event is the CAMPUS NORTH PARKING STRUCTURE (5 minute walk).
An alternate place is the CAMPUS SOUTH PARKING STRUCTURE (10-12 minute walk).
