COCA's Quarterly Meetings are an excellent opportunity for networking and information-gathering. Representatives from our Owners are strategically seated to allow for increased interaction with Construction Associate Members during lunch.

Our 1st Quarter Board of Directors and Construction Associates Joint meeting will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017, beginning with lunch/networking opportunity at 12:00 pm (noon) and the meeting following at 1:00 pm.  This meeting is scheduled to conclude at 2:00 pm.  Check-in/Registration opens at 11:30 am.

Our presenters will be comprised of a panel of representatives from our COCA Owner member companies including Afton Chemical, Dynegy Midwest Generation, Eastman Chemical, Olin Brass, Prairie State Generating, SunCoke Energy, and Phillips 66 Wood River Refinery. They will answer questions posed by you, our Construction Associate members, and submitted to COCA prior to the meeting.  The questions will be based on a number of topics as listed in this announcement.  The questions will be selected by the moderator to be asked during the presentation. The topics to be used for developing the questions are listed below:

1). Safety

2). Contractor selection process

3). Training

4). Workforce development (Contractor/Owner Employee)

5). Challenges in the workplace

6). Ownership and accountability in project management (Cost, Schedule, Quality)

7). Labor availability

8). Contractor leadership

9). Proactive initiatives in project management

10). Project scope development

You may use the downloadable form to provide your questions.  Your questions need to be submitted to COCA no later than Tuesday February 28, 2017.  All questions will be listed anonymously and will be asked by the moderator during the meeting.

Cost: $40.00 per person (includes lunch)

NOTE:  Registration cancellations must be received no later than Wednedsay, March 8th; however, substitutions are welcomed at any time.  NOTE:  "No Shows" will be charged as registered and attending.
