Split This Rock is a community movement. Without all of us, we can't bring poetry to the center of public life - where it belongs. This afternoon party is the first in a monthly series of gatherings for mingling, delicious treats, and a short program of essential poetry. 

With Ferguson, Missouri, heavy on our hearts, we've invited several dynamic poets to share poems that bear witness to injustice, build bridges, and inspire change. You'll learn more about the work of Split This Rock and why others choose to invest in our efforts to bring daring, important poetry into the world.
