The Griffin/Spalding Chamber of Commerce is getting ready for their 53rd Annual Christmas Parade to be held Saturday, December 5th at 6:00 p.m. “Christmas Movies” is this year’s theme; participants are encouraged to decorate their entry accordingly. All vehicles are required to be decorated. Walking units are encouraged to dress in holiday attire.  Judging will be held in the following categories:

  

     Chamber’s Cup—Best Overall Presentation

     Santa’s Choice—Best Representation of Parade Theme      

   Best Walking Group—Marching, dancing skating, etc.

   Most Original—Based on originality and uniqueness

 The regular parade route on West Taylor Street will be used beginning at 16th Street at Chick-fil-a with units dispersing at 4th street turning right at the Old Cola Company.  Due to safety concerns, this will be a candy free event.
