Create the Business Plan That's Right for You 

A business plan is a living, breathing blueprint for your business that will help you guide and manage your company. This workshop is a must for potential business owners.
 
In this interactive workshop we will cover why you need a plan, how to think about customers and marketing strategy, how to define your business model and business goals, and how to project your funding needs and financial results. Your business plan will communicate your business strategy to potential investors, partners, lenders and others and encourage them to participate.  
  

You will gain insights as well as identify key elements and unique issues in your own plan.

 

Instructors:

Bruce Director:  CPA with a major accounting firm; owner of independent financial consulting firm; senior executive with a large international bank with responsibility for business plans, budgeting, accounting, financial analysis. SCORE NYC Mentor.

Judith Katz:  Senior corporate executive in strategic planning and finance (American Express, Provident Life and Accident and Barnes & Noble); co-founder of a computer music software system targeted to school systems and music teachers;  president of a two year career college; and nonprofit senior staff and board member for community organization and currently a charter school network.  Skills include business planning, budgeting, organization design and general management.

Workshop Fees:
