This workshop is presented by Allyson K. Thompson of Kring & Chung, Attorneys LLP. Allyson holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Hawaii and a JD from Lincoln Law in Sacramento. Areas of expertise are employment and labor law, including sexual harassment, discrimination, and wage and hour litigation. Allyson advises employers on how to avoid employment related litigation and has lectured on issues such as effective strategy in preparing employee handbooks and company policies, legislative changes to State and Federal labor laws and prevention of sexual harassment in the workplace. She is an active member of the Society of Human Resources Management ("SHRM") and is currently serving as the Advocacy Captain for the 48th Congressional District on behalf of SHRM. Allyson currently serves as the Vice President of the Orange County Women Lawyers Association
