One of the most pressing needs of children is the need for safe and secure out of school time spaces and activities.  

YEP serves as a safe and secure out of school time place for children in our communities, providing daily nutritional meals; homework assistance and tutoring; and various enrichment activities to help them grow healthy minds, healthy bodies and healthy lives. 

After school programs like the Youth Enrichment Program (YEP) provide homework assistance and tutoring to increase the likelihood that students will pass the third grade reading test which in turn increases the likelihood that students will graduate from high school and eventually become employed.
