How to Obtain TRM Raffle Tickets
Tickets are $5 each or five tickets for $20. They can be purchased from a TRM representative prior to the event. Additionally, tickets will be available for purchase on the night of the event. The drawing will take place on April 24th, at the end of the 10 Year Celebration. You need not be present to win.
Win a Limited Edition 2016 Ford Mustang
TRM is also selling tickets for the "Millions for Tucson Raffle" in which the winner will recive a brand new 50th Anniversary Edition Ford Mustang, donated by Jim Click. Rules and Regulations for the Tucson Refugee Ministry 2015 Fundraising Raffle
Eligibility: Entry purchaser must be present in the state of Arizona at the time of purchase. It is not necessary to be a resident of Arizona, but one must be physically present in Arizona at the time of purchase. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. The Tucson Refugee Ministry (TRM) Raffle is conducted in English. The TRM Raffle Director, active TRM Board Members and TRM Celebration Planning Committee members are not eligible to enter or win a prize in the raffle.
How and When to Enter: Entries may be purchased via the internet, calling TRM, from TRM representatives, and/or at the fundraiser on 4/24/15. All entries must be received by the Raffle Coordinator by 8:30pm on 4/24/15. If entry purchasers call, mail or purchase their tickets online, confirmation numbers will be called or e-mailed to the purchaser prior to the drawing. This is the only confirmation that will be provided. A hard copy ticket is NOT required to claim a prize. By entering the raffle, the entry purchaser acknowledges that he or she is aware of, and agrees to abide by the TRM Raffle’s rules and regulations.
Drawing: Raffle Drawing for Prizes will be on April 24, 2015 at approximately 9:00pm at The Tucson Refugee Ministry Celebration at The Journey Church (4700 N. Swan Road, Tucson, AZ 85718). TRM reserves the right to extend the date of the drawing due to any circumstances which prevent the fundraiser from taking place on 4/24/15. Entry purchasers may win more than one prize. Tickets are non refundable.
Prizes: For a complete listing of prizes, see sidebar at left. The odds of a single ticket winning a prize depend on the number of tickets sold. Prizes may not be exactly as shown in the brochure or handouts and are based on business donor’s availability. If unavailable, similar or like kind prizes may be substituted at the sole discretion of the Raffle Coordinator or TRM Director. Prizes may be donated back to TRM if the winner chooses. If a potential winner does not comply with the Official Raffle Rules, then the potential winner will be disqualified and the prize or a cash equivalent will revert back to TRM.
Notification of Winners: Winners will be announced at the TRM Raffle Drawing on 4/24/15. Winners not present at the time of the drawing will be notified via phone, e-mail, text, and/or mail where available, by a member of TRM or the TRM Fundraising Board of the requisite procedure to claim the prize. Winners must respond to the notification within 10 business days or the prize will be forfeited and will revert back to TRM. Prizes are to be claimed by winners within six (6) months of the draw unless otherwise arranged by TRM. After the Drawing, a complete prize winners list with winners’ names will be available by calling TRM. Using the information provided, if a selected winner is unable to be contacted or located prior to the deadline for claiming the prize, the prize or a cash equivalent will revert to TRM. In the event a winning entry has more than one name listed on the ticket, the prize will be awarded to the first name listed on the entry.
Privacy: By entering the Raffle, entry purchasers agree that their names may be used for communications regarding the current Raffle or future Raffles, and that his/her name may be listed as a winner on the TRM website without further compensation.
Raffle Cancellation/Force Majeure: In the unforeseen event that the Raffle is canceled or cannot be completed, tickets will be held until the Raffle can be implemented. This may mean holding tickets until the next TRM Fundraising Event. TRM, shall not be in default or otherwise liable for any delay in or failure of its performance of the raffle if such delay or failure arises by any reason beyond reasonable control, including any act of God, any acts of the common enemy, the elements, earthquakes, floods, fires, epidemics, riots, failures or delay in transportation or communications, or any act or failure to act by the other party or such other party’s employees, agents or contractors.
Waiver/Limitations of Liability: Entry purchasers, by participating (and winners, by accepting a prize), release Tucson Refugee Ministry and respective affiliates, partners, agents, representatives, sponsors, service agencies and each of their respective directors, officers, partners, employees and agents including advertising and promotion agencies from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly from the participation in the promotion, possession, use and distribution of the prize(s) awarded.
Taxes and IRS Rules: All winners shall be responsible for any and all federal, state and local income or excise taxes, fees, assessments and like charges associated with the prizes.
