Attorney Sharon Abraham-Weiss has focused ACRI’s formidable legal prowess against some of Israel’s most challenging issues. Facing down threats to freedom of speech, minority rights and the rights of Israel’s children and its poorest, Abraham-Weiss is “one of the top 10 most influential people working for social change in Israel” (The Marker).
ACRI is Israel’s oldest and largest human rights organization. They are responsible for many of Israel's ground-breaking civil rights laws, including the disqualification of racist political parties, the right to equal rent assistance for Arab and Jewish families, and the inclusion of Conservative and Reform Jews in nationwide religious policy-making.
