The Prevention Academy brings together NC Prevention Partners, Chambers of Commerce, wellness leaders and local businesses that are committed to establishing a strong wellness environment for their community. Prevention Academies are open to WorkHealthy AmericaSM participant organizations.
This Prevention Academy will include:
- Interactive presentations focused on how to enhance your culture of wellness, achieve straight A’s for your organization, and lead the state in promoting the healthiest work places!
- Guest speakers discussing their successes and challenges establishing a culture of wellness;
- Networking time with other attendees and experts from NCPP's staff;
- Small group training sessions on establishing tobacco-free policies, physically active worksites, and negotiating preventive benefits.

- Registration begins at 9:00am (light breakfast included).
- Dress is business professional, although we will have two physically active breaks!
