Grace Men's Conference 2018 

Our Theme - Life in the Spirit - The biblical narrative opens with the image of the Spirit of God hovering over the formless and dark, watery void. Then God speaks, bringing life, form and purpose by the power of His word.  So also we are informed throughout the New Testament that it is the very Spirit of God who, in an even more profound way, breathes into the lives of God’s sons and daughters to bring about a new creation, filling us with life, purpose and power, in order to  image our creator and to live in and carry out His mission.  So how is it that we seek to participate with God in this mission? What does it look like to seek to live out the life in the Spirit rather than life in the flesh? What does it mean to walk by the Spirit of God in every good endeavor and undertaking of Life? These questions and the theme of Life in the Spirit will guide our time together as Men of Grace. 

Our Speaker - Mike Hsu is a PCA pastor at  Grace Vancouver, in British Columbia, husband to Tanya and father of three children. With a church planter’s heart to reach people with the gospel and a pastor’s skill to shepherd people toward a deeper understanding and application of the gospel, Mike seeks to both challenge and build up the church for ministry in the world. He has a true gift of cultivating growth in the lives of people. As a graduate of KU, Mike has roots in Lawrence as well as at Grace EPC, where he was one of the first youth leaders.
