Leadership: Alignment of Team Productivity and Cohesion to Business Objectives
"The Math of Teams"
Research continues to report that leaders, at all levels, value teamwork as a prime contributor to organizational success. Yet, teamwork continues to be listed as an area of opportunity, of development, of struggle. Leaders struggle with understanding the facets of teamwork, the roles within a team, and how to organize, build, and nurture effective teams that understand and achieve the business objectives in a knowledge economy.
1. Discuss key elements in the selection and formation of teams, including best practices for developing synergy to increase critical business metrics including revenue, margin, reduction of risk, conflict de-escalation and more
2. Discuss and develop activities that encourage cohesion among team members, collaborative problem solving, and open communication environments
3. Identify, understand, and mitigate common conflict management and tensions in developing teams
