Title: “Building the Silicon Heartland”
Abstract: Intel made international news last year when the semiconductor manufacturing company announced it will be investing more than $20 billion to build two leading-edge semiconductor fabrication facilities – or fabs – in Licking County. This is the largest economic investment in Ohio’s history, and Kevin Hoggatt, Intel’s Director of State Government Affairs in Ohio, will join us to provide an overview of the company and its investment in Ohio. In addition, he will give an update on construction to date and discuss how Ohio companies can be considered for supplier opportunities.
Learning Objectives:
Finally, he will discuss what Intel’s investment means for the region, state, and nation as they build the Silicon Heartland right here in Ohio.
