Project Description - 

Northside Mega Fix includes the FRA-23 Trench project, which extends from Wilson Bridge Road in Worthington, north to Lazelle Road; East and west of US 23 on I-270 to complete the new interchange.  The project constructed two northbound express lanes on US23, a new High Street bridge over I-270, and reconfigured two of the ramps at the I-270/US23 interchange.  The SR315/I-270 interchange will be reconfigured to provide a separate eastbound I-270 ramp to US23 crossing over the SR315 NB ramp, as well as provide a new SR315 SB flyover ramp to I-270 EB.  This project will also build a new US23 SB ramp to allow free flow traffic to I-270 WB and SR315. 

PRESENTER: Brian J. Davidson, P.E. , Project Manager

Brian Davidson started his ODOT District 6 project management career in 2013, and previously spent 8 years as the Deputy Engineer at Marion County Engineer’s Office.  Brian received his BSCE from Ohio Northern University.  He is the project manager of the North Side Mega Fix projects, as well as the Columbus Crossroads 70/71 Phase 5 project, the Design Build Gemini Place Extension and the District 6 Ohio Bridge Partnership Program Design Build projects.
