The Village Run
Friday evening, 6/6/14, Kids run beginning at 6:30pm, 5K Run/Walk beginning at 7pm
Race Purpose: To raise money for The Village, Rosemont, PA. The mission of Presbyterian Children's Village is to promote the healing of the spirits of children, families and communities broken by violence, addiction, poverty, mental illness, racism and other societal problems. Event Description: A challenging road course through our neighborhood, beginning and ending on church grounds.
Location: Newtown Square Presbyterian Church, 3600 Goshen Road, Newtown Square
Entry: $25 before race day, $35 on race day
Amenities: Each 5K registrant will receive a T-shirt and refreshments. There is also a free kids race!

TheVillage (formerly Presbyterian Children's Village) today helps children and families through residential treatment programs, foster care, adoption, mental health services, after school programs, parent education, in-home services, and supervised independent living for children who are “aging out.” TheVillage running program is one of many activities available for girls in the residential treatment program to help them heal from trauma and develop confidence for a brighter future.
