Join your AFB friends for a tour of The Buffalo History Museum’s newly installed World War 1 Exhibit.
'For Home and Country' marks the 100th anniversary of American involvement in World War I. During the war, our nation lost nearly 117,000 of its bravest men and women. The exhibit commemorates the sacrifice of 968 lives from Western New York. Guests will explore their stories and view rarely before seen artifacts from the collection including home front advertising, uniforms, and weaponry.
A faux-bunker installation will honor the soldiers of the decisive Meuse-Argonne Offensive and a memorial wall within the exhibit will give remembrance to each man and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
