Talent Submissions 

Flappers Comedy Club & Restaurant presents the eighth annual Burbank Comedy Festival (August 8-21, 2021), two weeks of amazing comedy shows, industry showcases, podcasts, classes, networking events, industry panels and after-parties.  We are accepting submissions for stand-up comedy, sketch/improv groups, comedic short films, variety acts, comedy magic, musical comedy acts, and more!  

Submissions require a non-refundable $50.00 earlybird submission fee. Unfortunately, we can only accept a certain number of submissions.  Submission does not guarantee selection.

COVID-19 UPDATE:  The Festival is expected to consist of both live and virtual events in Burbank, Aug 8-21.  In the event that the quarantine is extended or re-implemented, we will convert to an all-virtual festival that takes place in our virtual comedy rooms.  One way or another, our aim is to connect talent from around the world with industry - ain't no virus gonna get us down! 

Submission Fee Increases to $75 at 12:01pm May 1st, 2020.  In addition, all comedians must fill out a Flappers Comedy Talent Profile.
