First Tuesdays Registration - Jan 8 Clergy Education Program

First Tuesdays Registration - Jan 8 Clergy Education Program

Canon Claire Woodley will present Intractable Church Conflict: Diagnostics and Strategies at our upcoming First Tuesday.  Canon Woodley brings 30 years of experience in the study and management of conflict in churches and church organizations. We’ll look at various types of conflict and how to address them. We will address antagonism and the presence of evil in congregational life. Please bring a case study of a current or past conflict that has your attention to work on in lab time. The Rev. Eddie Alleyne will be preaching.

“Antagonists are individuals who, on the basis of non-substantive evidence, go out of their way to make insatiable demands, usually attacking the person or performance of others. These attacks are selfish in nature, tearing down rather than building up, and are frequently directed against those in a leadership capacity.”

Grateful for all of you and hope to see you at First Tuesdays!
