Safe Church Training in Brooklyn October 13, 2018 

Topics covered include the legal, ethical, and theological foundations for the prevention of sexual abuse or harassment and the development of safe working and learning places. New church employees and lay leaders are encouraged to register for these workshops.

The training is required for vestry and church staff, including Sunday School teachers and all parishioners who work with children.

Safe Church workshops are offered in English and Spanish throughout the academic year, both at Mercer School and throughout the diocese.

Class size is limited. There is no fee for this event.

Lunch will be provided
