Senior Health & Wellness Initatives Summit

This summit will provide information and education about starting or enhancing ministries that focus on services to seniors and the aging population. 

We will spotlight diocesan programs that offer rewarding experiences and activities that help seniors live fuller, healthier, and more rewarding lives in community with others.

Attendees will consider how specific recreational activities impact health, wellness and the quality of life for seniors and the wider community.

During the afternoon portion of the summit, a variety of selected service providers will be available during a “Vendor Forum” in the Mercer Gallery. Invited organizations will be prepared to talk about related services and supports for seniors including;

• Caregiver circles
• Legal and estate planning
• Cognitive learning and enrichment
• Patient advocacy
